Southwest Airlines Celebrates New Missouri Service with Fares as Low as $49 Each Way

 

Dallas, TX (PRWEB via PRWebDirect) December 1, 2005 -- In support of its recently announced new, nonstop service between Dallas' Love Field and St. Louis and Kansas City, Southwest Airlines (NYSE: LUV) launched DING!-only airfares as low as $49 each way for travel on those new routes from Dec. 13, 2005, through March 31, 2006. These low fares are for DING! subscribers and are only available until midnight CST tonight, so Customers must act fast.

Southwest's other Texas destinations also benefit from the new Dallas service. In addition to enhancing service between Texas and Missouri with additional and more convenient connections, Southwest is offering a special DING! fare of just $79 each way to St. Louis or Kansas City from Amarillo, Austin, Corpus Christi, El Paso, Houston Hobby, Harlingen/South Padre Island, Lubbock, Midland/Odessa, and San Antonio.

These fares are available for purchase through the DING! application only, and are valid for travel from Dec. 13, 2005, through March 31, 2006. Fares are available one-way. Seats are limited. Fares may vary by flight and day of week and will not be available on some flights that operate during very busy travel times. Fares do not include a $3.20 federal segment tax per takeoff and landing. Fares do not include airport-assessed passenger facility charges (PFC) of up to $9 one-way and U.S. government-imposed September 11th Security Fees of up to $5 one-way. Fares are subject to change until ticketed. Tickets are nonrefundable but may be applied toward the purchase of future travel on Southwest Airlines. Fares are valid on Southwest-operated published, scheduled service only and are not available through the Group Desk. Any change in itinerary may result in an increase in fare.

Customers also may purchase the new southwestgiftcard online with no expiration and give between $10 to $1,000. Cards come with a variety of delivery options and a personalized message to the recipient.
