Boulder, CO (PRWEB via PRWebDirect) August 1, 2005 -- Moxie Moms LLC, an organization of more than 1,000 moms dedicated to making it easier to be a mom with fun & fitness oriented events and discounts from local businesses serving moms, is now expanding nationally. New chapters will soon start in Phoenix, Ariz.; the Bay Area, Monterey & Santa Cruz, Calif.; Pembroke Pines & Weston, Florida; Portland, Oregon; Austin, Texas; and Richmond, Va.


Moxie Moms helps new and experienced moms find a community of moms for friends, fun & fitness. Moxie Moms offers events for moms to meet other moms, get back into shape, get out of the house, learn the secrets of what mommy tools to get and where to get great deals, and for everyone to play with their babies and toddlers. Events include walks on trails and in malls, swims at the pool, movies with the babies, a packed house at Gymboree or Little Gym, dancing to music and creating works of art. Plus, Moxie Moms members get 15 percent or better discounts at locally owned businesses serving moms and children who work with Moxie Moms.

Moxie Moms works with more than 140 locally owned retailers and service providers (including licensees and franchisees) serving moms and children, including: The Little Gym®, Gymboree®, Stroller Strides®, Boulder Running Company, Grandrabbits Toy Shoppe, Outdoor Divas, Playfair Toys, Music Together®, Kindermusik®, Bosom Buddies, Flatiron Athletic Club, and many more.
