Schmidt brings more than 20 years experience in the field of information systems management.

Schmidt will direct product and information systems development for v-Fluence. He is the author/editor of the instructional manuals "Data Modeling for Information Professionals" and "Infostructor." During his career Schmidt has also built information systems for giants such as Exxon, Michelin, Anheuser-Busch, and start-ups such as Orion Genomics.
Schmidt’s work has earned him several prestigious honors including "Master of Analysis" from Ernst & Young; best speaker, and subsequently best paper, from Oracle Developers Group.
A graduate of Rice University with degrees in economics and business administration, Schmidt will work out of v-Fluence’s St. Louis office.
