In a highly anticipated move, SOX Institute will be revamping its research, education and certification programs to include the broader spectrum of GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance). This move comes less than four years since its inception in 2003, and is a testament to the fact that the industry is now looking at SOX vis-à-vis other regulations.
According to company officials, GRC Institute will continue to retain the well-recognized SOX Institute brand and corresponding CSOX™ and CSOXP®™ certifications, while at the same time introducing new education and certification programs in Governance, Risk Management and Regulatory Compliance, as well as in IT Governance and Compliance.
