The new company name reflects the view and evolution of the relationship between security vendor and customer from two entities, to a single cohesive entity, when executing initiatives, achieving the greatest success through synergy and transfer of knowledge in a constant state of osmosis.
Business and information security are in a state of constant flux, the zenith of a simpler, smarter, secure state is achievable through their expanded solution offerings. “The Symosis name was born from our experience helping many top organizations with security personnel and products who feel they own the latest cutting edge technology, and send their personnel to the most current available training, but are having trouble reaching a simpler state of security,” said Clinton Mugge, President of Symosis. “Our belief is to empower the security group to enable greater results using our experience and knowledge of success across a variety of industries.”
Along with the new name Symosis, will have growth driven in technology and sales with Kartik Trivedi, formerly of Accuvant and McAfee, assuming the role of VP of Technology, and Stephan Barnes, formerly of Mandiant, Special Ops Security, and Foundstone assuming the role of VP of Sales.
Clinton, Stephan and Kartik are recognized names and published authors and co-authors in some of the most known books, to include the Hacking Exposed series, in the information security business. Along with these recent hires, Symosis plans to hire additional service delivery and security personnel.
