Mark Spoonauer will moderate the educational session entitled ''The Pro-sumer – Leveraging the Overlap between Professional and Consumer Subscribers'' on April 1st and will lead discussion on the means by which mobile devices and wireless networks enable people to better integrate their personal and professional lives. Panel members include executives from Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Nokia, Qualcomm, and SEVEN, who will also discuss unified messaging, mobile access to one’s digital content and services, and who pays for what when the enterprise user goes home but continues to use the corporate device.

CTIA’s Educational Sessions address the most important issues facing the broad wireless ecosystem. “This year’s educational sessions reflect key changes and trends in the burgeoning mobile technology and services space,” said Robert Mesirow, vice president and show director of CTIA WIRELESS. “From consumer usage to professional applications and the important cross-section of ‘pro-sumers’, whoever your customer might be, there is a session dedicated to servicing them and understanding their mobile needs.”

In addition to the CTIA Wireless 2008 panel on April 1st, Mark Spoonauer will also moderate a panel at Smartphone Summit on March 31st entitled, ''Best New Smartphone Handsets & Devices.'' Members of the panel will be executives from the solutions divisions of RIM, Nokia, Motorola, Samsung, and Palm that will present their latest smart phones, along with smart phone-based enterprise solutions.

“I’m very excited to be covering two very important aspects of wireless technology at CTIA by hosting these two panels,” said Mark Spoonauer. “The Smartphone Summit provides an opportunity to showcase the most cutting edge new devices, while the CTIA WIRELESS 2008 panel will focus on how these devices are affecting workers’ lives — and how they impact the businesses they work for — when they’re away from the office.”
