Chinese Drywall Complaint Center Wants to Hear from Toxic Chinese Drywall Victims in Florida, Texas and the Gulf States; Expands Its Insider Investigation

(PRWEB) June 1, 2009 -- Americas Watchdog and its Homeowners Consumer Center created the Chinese drywall Complaint Center to be the most informative web site in the US when it comes to toxic Chinese drywall. The group has been demanding that the Obama administration declare a national disaster for homeowners stuck in potentially lethal homes due to exposure to toxic Chinese drywall. According to the group, "homeowners whose homes contain toxic Chinese drywall are innocent victims, and they need federal help and aid to fix their homes. In Florida alone, we expect to discover at least 150,000+ homes. If you include the Gulf States and the rest of the country, we could be talking about 350,000+ homes." The group says, "aside from the fact that homes that contain toxic Chinese drywall may all be worth zero, these houses are making homeowners and/or their children really sick, in many cases with severe upper respiratory issues, headaches, nose bleeds, rashes, and other potentially serious health issues." Americas Watchdog blames the Obama administration for looking the other way when it comes to what the group calls "the absolute worst environmental disaster in US history." Toxic Chinese drywall corrodes copper, silver, lead and zinc. If a homeowner in Florida, Texas, the Gulf Coast states, Alabama, Georgia, Virginia, Maryland, California, Arizona, or Colorado knows or suspects they have toxic Chinese drywall in their home, they should contact the Chinese Drywall Complaint Center at 866-714-6466, or contact the group via their web site at Http://ChineseDrywallComplaintCenter.Com.

The Chinese Drywall Complaint Center is now trying to determine how many manufacturers of toxic Chinese drywall there are. According to CNN Knauf imported drywall from China, Americas Watchdog thinks there could be up to 8+ other Chinese manufactures of imported wall board. Americas Watchdog is now requesting that homeowners who know for certain their home has toxic Chinese drywall to take a picture of the label, on the back of one of the drywall boards in their attic (if safe, and possible), and e-mail the picture to the group. According to the group, "we have seen at least four versions of made in China, we have seen drywall that we think came from China, that has a series of numbers- letters, and we have seen drywall with no markings at all, that we suspect came from China." According to the group, "this should be particularly easy for homeowners in Florida, Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi, where the toxic Chinese drywall has been found in vast quantities." Please e-mail your pictures to the Chinese drywall Complaint Center, via their web site at Http://ChineseDrywallComplaintCenter.Com.

Why is identifying the various Chinese drywall manufacturers important? According to Americas Watchdog, "we think obtaining this information is crucial, because for the first time homeowners in all states can see what it looks like, and what Chinese manufacturer drywall has the worst side affects for homeowners. Once we see what is the name of the drywall, we will try to marry metal corrosion, and health affects to the various wall board makers." The group intends to then put this information on its Chinese Drywall Complaint Center web site. Homeowners who know or suspect they have toxic Chinese drywall in their home can contact the Chinese Drywall Complaint Center at 866-714-6466, or contact the group via their web site at Http://ChineseDrywallComplaintCenter.Com.

At the same time Americas Watchdog wants to hear from air conditioning technicians or homeowners in Florida or in other states who were replacing air conditioning coils due to exposure to toxic Chinese drywall as far back as 2004. According to the group, "there is no way in the world the US air conditioning industry did not know about toxic Chinese drywall as far back as 2005, and we need courageous air conditioning technicians, or employees to step forward to tell us what they know, and when they found out Chinese drywall was corroding copper coils on air conditioning units." The group says, "we especially want to hear from homeowners, or air conditioning technicians, who were seeing AC coil discoloring, or failures in 2004, or 2005, in larger Florida sub-divisions." Homeowners or air conditioning insiders can contact the Chinese Drywall Complaint Center at 866-714-6466, or contact the group via their web site at Http://ChineseDryWallComplaintCenter.Com.

Important Note To Homeowners In Florida, Virginia, Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana From Americas Watchdog, "do not agree to a quick fix re-drywall of your home until the Obama administration's EPA give a remediation plan, that will ensure that your home is safe to live in, after the builder quick fix. Why go through the hardship of moving out of your home, if a re-drywall will not entirely fix the problem?" For more information please contact the Chinese Drywall Complaint Center at 866-714-6466, or contact the group via their web site at Http://ChineseDrywallComplaintCenter.Com.

According to Americas Watchdog, "its also high time President Obama and the US Congress address what we consider to be the worst environmental disaster in US history. Why is Chinese drywall still being imported into the US, Mr. President?"

Americas Watchdog, its Homeowners Consumer Center and its Chinese Drywall Complaint Center are all about making things right for 100,000's of innocent US homeowners living in a home with toxic Chinese drywall. Http://HomeownersConsumerCenter.Com
